The Sturgeon River Pottery Fund For Education In The Visual Arts was established in January 1999 by Steve and Karen Andrews to commemorate their 25th Wedding Anniversary and is administered by the Petoskey/Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation.
The fund offers annual grants to secondary school (K-12) art programs as a way of helping them with their mission of developing their students’ appreciation of art. Grant applications for this fund are mailed to eligible schools in early January. Completed grant applications are due back to the Community Foundation office by March 1. Grants will be in the $50 to $250 range.
